Chirag Shukla knows how to speak geek. But he’s also fluent in the language of leadership. “I’ve worked with a lot of software developers,” says Chirag, the Chief Information and Technology Officer at Sioux Falls, South Dakota-based Risk Administration Services (RAS). “I was a developer at one point, too. We usually just put our headphones on and start coding, because that’s enjoyable. We love how we can make machines work,” he says. “But it's more important to take those headphones off once in a while and have a discussion about how your work impacts others.”
