We are seeing courage demonstrated all around us during these times. Healthcare workers on the front lines. Leaders making the tough calls. I am moderating a panel with courage expert Bill Treasurer this Tuesday and wonder what questions the Pack might have on this timely topic?
Leaders rely on their circle of trust when making tough calls. Can you ask the panel who their circle of trust is and whether that circle of trust is within their workplace or outside or both? I hope some stories will emerge that will give others ideas of how to be more resourceful than we are currently.
Great topic Dan, but I am going to ask a question from another view. I agree that we are witnessing the stories of many incredible and courageous “Heroes” today. Experience shows that a person’s true ability and character show during times of adversity or crisis. While we all experience this current world crisis, I can point to examples of people I believe are behaving as good and bad leaders. But for the many people not at the top of the chain, how do you manage and make decisions within your circle of responsibility if your leader is showing signs of weakness, doubt, or indecision? And what do you do if you strongly disagree with decisions that are being made or not made at all?
Consider it done Chirag...that is an awesome question and one I had not thought of!
